more than welcome to try one of mine. I converted my 7' 4wt and my 6' 4wt to quad but not with a direct .93 conversion... that got it close but it wasn't quite there. I tweeked it so that the progression of the conversion ranges from 93% in the tip section to 86% at the butt and the little rods casts a great line. Only problem with them is getting the cork on... as you can see the 6 footer is less than 1/4" flat to flat so you have to build to get the cork on it. I just used polyurethane glue to glue the cork on and it foamed up and filled the gaps with no problem so far. OK as it reaches 1/4 inch in the butt section where the cork rings will be mounted.

This rod has a "Butt-loaded (progressive/slow action)" stress profile. Stress varies significantly across the rod. Some sections work much harder than others, creating a pronounced action character. Peak stress is well below the failure threshold, giving this rod a generous safety margin.
